@ Credit2u - Glad to hear you've solved your problem there

@ jablackburn - Ok, thanks for the input. I think I'll try and leave it til the new switch arrives...8 days, before I do anything more with it.
If anybody else read my posts a few posts up, please feel free to add any suggestions or thoughts.

Hey,

The new switch arrived on Friday and I went right to it on Saturday. It must've been the main issue (the old switch I mean), because upon putting in the new one, hooking up the connectors, bolting it and the shift cable in nice and snug, car started with no warning lights on the first try.

The car starts nicely (compared to before :p), it does not roll in Park anymore - and 'catches' in Park better/quicker, Seems to be going through the gears fine. Alignment went easy, Put shift rod in Neutral and used the new PNP switches line etched in the black paint to 'eye' the alignment and it worked out fine.

I was/am very happy about that, hope it keeps going good.
