remove cigarette smoke

Another vote for the ozone generator! In my opinion, it is the ONLY thing that will remove the smell permanently - most all other solutions simply mask the odor.

+1 You are absolutely right, everything else just mask. My olfactory is hypersensitive and am allergic to cigarette smoke and cats. The 2nd hand smoke odor from a smoker's lungs is especially bothersome whereas the smoke will almost always cause a case of respiratory distress leading to infection. I have an Ozone generator and will give that a try for the (not smoke) odor that was in the car from the previous owner.

My husband is a chain smoker. I don't mind. But the smell...
Would ozone generator help?

Not so sure it will penetrate the deep haze. Would clean along with the Ozone Generator. However...

I used the MA10K-PRO Ozone generator in my Ford Edge. 2 x 30 minute cycles. Once with the engine off and then once with the a/c running in recirculate mode. I also used it in my double car garage, 2 x 120 minute cycles with a 2 hour open door air exchange in between the cycles. In my opinion it seemed to remove the smoke odours (Canadian spelling folks). To be satisfied I then had a couple of neighbours (Canadian spelling again) who are non-smokers give me their honest opinions. Sure enough they agreed that the smoke odour is truly eliminated. I highly recommend this unit.
