Wow, the car just fired right up. I added a half gallon.
There must be water at the bottom of my tank or something! It was getting fuel just fine at the injectors, but it had to be bad for some reason.

It don't take much water to make it run bad and when it gets low it stirs up the water even more and puts it through the fuel system in larger quantanties. Hope some fresh gas works for you.

Good deal keep it above a quarter tank and you should be ok. If there isn't much in there dry gas should work but it causes the water to go through the system all in one shot

Woot! I was going to say it sounds like you're out of gas. Glad it was something simple in the end!

The gas station I filled up at (weeks ago) was apparently affected by the huge flood we had a month ago. One of my friends with an S4 had to drain his tank completely as there was water in the gas. I totally forgot and filled up the Volvo there. The water likely settled to the bottom, so when I got to around 2 gallons of gas/water, it started ingesting it. Adding the half gallon of fuel mustve stirred it up and gotten more fuel in.
I added isopropyl ISO-Heet last night and hopefully that takes care of it.
