If you look slightly to the right of the green clip there is already an elbow and vac line connected there with a white mark on it.

OK I see that. Is the line intact?

If the line is fine then I am confused, what are you asking by "See the picture below and see the hose with the green clip. Can anyone tell me where this is supposed to connect?"

Sorry if I am confusing you. And thank you for the quick reply BTW. I might be confusing you because I am confused also. I have a close up below. I can't find where the green clip end is supposed to connect to because where it looks like it might go there is already a vac line connected with a white dot on it.

Oh I get it now, thanks for the close-up. I thought the green clip was connected to the manifold.

It looks to me like someone has bypassed the original setup (the line with the green clip) and connected a replacement to the nipple, then simply left the old line in place. However since the car is throwing those codes, I also suspect the job was botched.

I think I would go to the PTC, and see what is connected there, and try to figure out if that line on the PTC connects to the IM nipple (like it should), or to the elbow with the green clip (which seems more likely, given the present codes). If the PTC is going to the green clip, then the vacuum lines are not put together properly and likely you need to do a PCV job to sort it out. But definitely worth checking out, a PCV service is a hassle of a job to do "just because."

Followed the green clip hose and it leads to the PTC and is the thick hose coming straight off the top of the PTC. Is it supposed to connect to the oil separator?

The other hose with the white dot also goes back to the PTC and comes off the top with an elbow.

In the pic below the green clip hose is the lightning bolt and the white dot hose is the four point star.

You are exactly correct. I pulled the manifold to do a complete PCV job and that was the old hose.
