Re: 1998 S70 stalling no codes?
The fuel pressure at my fuel rail is reading 36.5 psi . I'm wondering if that is too low. I wondering where can I check the ohms resistance of my fuel pump, and the acceptable ohms range of the pump? The pump cost~$100 and the fuel pressure regulator also cost ~$100, so I would like to rule one out with my volt meter if I can. i have already replaced the fuel filter. What do you think?

My pump is reading 1.9 ohms resistance at the pump's plug. I believe that it should read (1- 1.5 ohms resistance). What do you think?
I have turned off all ODBII codes by replacing my MAF and IAC (idle air control valve); still stalling so I'm leaning towards fuel pump or fuel regulator. I'm reading 36.5psi at my fuel rail.

After replacing my fuel pump, fuel filter, IAC, and MAF - my problem ended up being my ICM (ignition control module). I just replaced that part last year (aftermarket - only cost $25). Luckily I had a spare lying in the garage - hooked it up and she came to life again. Stalling without any codes - tuff fix. If it would not have started at all then I would have guessed ignition system - but it started fine but would not stay running. Can't believe that it took me so long to find my faulty ICM. I'll test drive tomorrow, and hope that I'm right.

Do you mean you swapped the ECU (computer)?

No, the coil and (I think the other part on the coil bracket is the resistor - I'm not certain). For $25 got the entire bracket assembly last year. I can post a pic later.
