If you change the water pump use a Volvo one because an aftermarket one might fail before the original would have.

That looks good Alex.
That does not appear to be a '93 engine at all though.

If you look at the photo of my '93 head, the intake ports are different for the VVIS intake manifold.

Also, there is no PCV tubing to the top of the head.

It would appear, your '93 has a '94.5 or later engine installed.

Ah, that's because it isn't.... Kinda forgot about that... It is a 97. Previous owner blew engine (timing belt) replaced with this one (1997 model). Are there any other differences to note about the newer engine?

Only good differences. They did away with the VVIS intake, which didn't function as they had expected.
Hence the different shape of the intake ports, and the PCV tube to the head.
