Robert, I live about three hours south of Houston, but if I were in Houston--which is on your route map--I would say that if you have any car trouble, I have garage space, air tools, and temporary transportation you could borrow. I imagine others would be willing to offer same if they had it.

I'm in Raleigh NC. Schedule kinda varies. Will meet up if I'm in town when you come through. 919-278-7109. I don't really check this site much I've been pretty lucky, car has been reliable over the last couple years.

Safe travels Robert, if you are ever up in the Greater Toronto Area, PM me. Wings/Sushi/Thai/Indian and beer are on me. There are lots of low mileage (most have less than 250,000km) Volvos for cheap here, perfect for you to flip.
