These cars are like tanks if one takes good care of it, if not taken care of ---> junk yard is awaiting them LOL...

Just curious who holds the records here? Does anyone have 400K here...
I hate sending good cars to the junkyard as much as the next guy, but more parts for me!
Someone needs to start a new thread for "highest mileage P80." I'm interested to see just how far these cars can be taken. Preferably on the original engine.

300k counts no matter what the engine is. The point is you extend the life of a car well beyond the average with either maintenance or intelligent choices of replacement subsystems vs scrapping and dumping on the environment by buying a new car.

Definitely, I was just joking. I hate seeing good cars like these at the junkyard. There is one '98 S70 GLT I had been pulling a bunch of parts from that had only 168,000-ish miles, and I believe it was running when it was brought to the pull a part. I think they crushed it, and there were lots of good parts left... so sad. Plus there is the '98 XC I got my grille from, also running when it got there. It was in great shape, too.

I knew you were. I just want to stay on the good side of Evan in case I need him to bail me out
