If he can pay to have that stuff shipped to him, I can bring it back around the 15th.

Jose...you'll need to reach me on EM stat if you want this stuff for your AC. I'm not sure I can ship the pump with oil in it but can look into that and try.

I would really like to get our AC working also, so if you get the tools that would be a big help.
I will certainly give some gas money and some for the tour. I have such a long list that
help with the AC alone would be nice and maybe some tips on the PCV.
I want to do the PCV cheaply so I plan to use heater hose, etc. as outlined on here but
will probably wait until the fall to do it.
We've not done any testing on the AC, the evaporator can looks very rusty.

Robert: If you are coming through Va. I could use your help with a 98 S70GLT and the pump under the battery. I also own a 95 850GLT, 01 XC70, 06 XC70, 08 XC70

Hi Robert! If you end up heading through Boston, we've got a spare room, some cash if you end up tagging in on a project, and 2 volvos with a combined 400k miles, so always looking for someone to give guidance on the state of them.

The main one in question is a 96 850 NA that I purchased as a parts car that I fixed up the best I could in order to give to my good friends who were just married and a bit down on their luck. They've been using the car for a year now, with only a few minor issues, however....

They are getting ready to need a timing belt and a couple larger priced items and I sure would love a second opinion on the overall health of the car to see if they should be putting more money into it or not. They've become quite fond of their car (now named Joan) and she sure is looking good, but I'm afraid of having them spend their hard earned money on a new timing belt + accessories and exhaust if there were any glaring issues that were about to come up.

Also I've been trying to track down an odd noise and oil leak for some time that I haven't had any luck with on my own car (04 Xc70).

ALso feel free to just come through for some food / drinks even if you don't have time to lend a hand!

Best of luck on your travels,

Ryan

I'm in NYC now, not sure if I'm going north. I'll figure out my schedule in the morning.
