Bottom line is, when the crank is set on time, you can rotate the cams around 360 degrees. If you can't do that, something is wrong. Also, if you did NOT pull the cam sprockets, and the crank is set on the mark, then you installed the belt making sure all 3 marks are correct.

Adjust the tensioner and rotor the crank over to insure everything is correct, easy roll over, no contact with valves. If that doesn't work for you, you probably need to tow the car somewhere to have it finished.
read what i sent after you said theres no way a valve could be stuck open!!! :twisted:

Of course if the valves are bent it is possible for ALL to be stuck open.

I had 24 of them stuck open on a whiteblock 960 after a serpentine belt wrapped around the crank. That's my pic from 2011 here on MVS

What do you think caused the issue with your valve? Was it poorly fitted?

So basically what you are saying is that you got the lifters wedged in (installed wrong) and stuck in the head?
