Oh, and we found it might not be a bad idea to check both the starter and main relays as age appears to be taking its toll.
Wisdom requires knowledge as a prerequisite, but knowledge can be developed due to a lack of wisdom.

MVS PSA...check those main and starter relays on high mile cars...we had two showing thermal damage, both working fine

I'm in. When does is start? I have an v70xc 98 , looking for spare cam, crank sensors. Climate temp sensor fan. And a smoke test.

Relays with wire wheel on Dremel, Speed 3.

Picture doesn't really show how nice these cleaned up - now shiny bright copper.

I didn't realize you were in Albany. I was up there last fall...with a wonderfully exciting Camry instead of a Volvo, though.

I'll give you a holler if I make it up that way again. I want to do an Adirondacks trip.

I shuffle between NYC and Albany, usually by Amtrak.

Weekends in Albany.

In SEA at moment, figuring out why planes are cracking....

Always room for a Volvo fan at our house, ADK are truly a National treasure.
