Rein has never been an OEM supplier for any car mfg. Rein is simply a stand-alone company. My experience with Rein is so-so with CV boot minor cracks in 3 y/22K.
Also, be careful when you see the word "OE" or "OEM" etc., it usually means nothing.
Your best bet is to find out EXACTLY who made the part, then go after it with a grain of salt.
For example, if you know Behr made the HVAC blower motor for your let's say 1998 S70, then go for it.
There is a small caveat, people in BMW forum bought Behr coolant reservoir, only to find out it cracks after 2-3 years. Turned out Behr made the reservoir in China during the last 10 years or so.
Anyway, it is a complex world, search for the name-brand, then search forum(s) for advice.

The Rein as the supplier came from someone on MVS who said they had Volvo spring seats and the Rein name had been rubbed down but could be read. I am sceptical but I am only repeating what was written.
