The only way to troubleshoot your cruise control light on a P80 is ....have it work.

It does not come on with key in pos I or II. It’s the only dash light that does not self test.

Maybe you can turn the light on in VIDA for a 99?

Well -1998 cars don't have a light, but you could probably turn it on with VIDA with '99+ cars. I haven't tried it yet.

A service light that only reminds you for 100 seconds after startup to do nothing before going back to sleep is a feature most modern cars certainly lack.

Can confirm that VIDA can activate the cruise control light... however it appears mine doesn't work. Shocker... lol

So how do you know when cruise is loaded, but not activated, on a -1998 car? I thought an indicator was mandatory..

I guess they assume you'll just look at the switch! I've always thought it was odd that the older cars don't have a light.

Dash squeak is a feature, not a problem

So much this^^^^

My big one is learning to accept wear and imperfections as acceptable. Ie chipped clear coat and split leather seats. I only have so much money!!!!
