Scamming of out of state travelers is one of the oldest automotive related scams there is.

LEOs do it all the time, but full service gas stations are mostly history these days. An independent shop might consider, but I suspect most are honest. A dealership, I don't think so.

People don't consider this option when broke down...buy an used pickup truck, get a trailer and tow it back home...then sell pickup truck.

It's "brake," not "break."

The dealer fixed the break oh brake today. So all is right in my S80's world once again. The mechanic was excellent as well as the advisor. The job was completed quickly. June

She took it into the dealer to get rid of the break not the brakes.

Funeral last Saturday, on the road today. In Oklahoma, but going back to Ft. Smith to look at houses. Last summer I found this place and fell in love! I want to relocate here.

I know it appears I am a degenerate gambler! Already winning! I'll add photos as I go. I plan on checking out Hot Springs, Ar next. June
