I'll let you know, Pete, if any other envy-greens will make it as far as DIY kit with PCB, maybe even already soldered. Soldering everything together is what kills me. ACK for prototype, NAK for production, even in small batches.

My timing belt does not wobble or vibration sounds coming from the hub, so there is some hope.

Thanks for your response, I have emailed FCP to add the o-rings to my existing order as a temp fix. Mine didn’t have much, but enough so that that inner o-ring was leaking where it is supposed to seal around the end of the cam shaft.
I have never replaced any MAF, but have cleaned them. Don’t use anything except MAF cleaner for them & don’t make physical contact with any part of it. Let air dry as well. I haven’t had to change an O2 sensor either. I have removed & reinstalled both on all my P2’s though. I do run a defouler/O2 spacer on two of my downpipes. Could try that if you’re suspecting the downstream O2 is flakey. They’re like $10-15, can get straight, 45 degrees, 90 degrees. You should see a code though if it’s O2/cat efficiency related.
I did also replace the TCV and MAP sensor recently, as well as the ETA (electronic throttle assembly, 01-02’s were called ETM). Been chasing a very strange boost issue that reveals itself seldomly. It has gotten much better with what I’ve done, but still happens once in a while. It’s not that bad, when it happens I only make 7psi, which is stock. My tune is supposed to target 14 psi, which it generally holds steady.
For those o-rings on FCP, I would absolutely try them out. They must have just added those to inventory. Worst case, you’ll have a smaller leak than before. When I tried it I kept getting sent incorrectly sized o-rings & basically couldn’t tie up my space with the car any longer so said to hell with it & got the hubs.
For the crank seal I just cut down the neck of a plastic funnel & lubed it & the seal so it could “ramp” it’s way up & over the stepped nose of the crank. Xheart put a picture of him using it to do his crank seal in his thread. Definitely install the oil pump gasket, O-ring & pump first, then do the seal.
I do not have any other dtc’s. I did replace the tcv preventative and recently swapped the maf sensor from our lower miles V70 . It helped with the hot starting, no more stumbling. Now just longer cranking.... diagnostics is the hardest part of automotive repairs.
I did see the photo of the seal in xHeart’s post but did not know what it was. I try that too and will install the oil seal as the last part.
Regarding your boost issue, could it be a damaged diafram in the Cbv?

I have replaced CBV’s before, not on this old turd though. If it were a torn CBV diaphragm I’d expect to hear at least some fluttering under boost & letting off accel pedal.
The nature of it seems to be an electronic, sensor type limitation. If all else fails, I’ll have the tune reloaded.
I haven’t read the other thread, but I assume you’re using ViDA?

Started on resolving this oil leak. I have replaced the oil pump seal and gasket, but this was not the source of the leak. Replaced the water pump. A Bugatti water pump was installed by a repair shop together with the timing belt @120k. It was not leaking and the bearing was still in good shape. But per recommendation replaced with an Aisin water pump.
The rear seals where not leaking but I will replace these in the last step.
The source of the leak is the intake hub. I measured the play of both hubs, while still mounted. Intake hub 2mm & 1.5mm Exhaust hub. Replaced the internal o-ring of the intake hub with one from FCP, it fits well, old one was hard and not pliable.
I measured the play again while removed with calipers and the play is 3mm.
Now that all the parts are removed It makes sense that the hubs start leaking with play over 1.5mm when looking at the attached pictures. I measured the outer edges of the running area of the inner seal and it measured about 1.5mm. Anything over and the seal starts riding on the chamfer of the vvt hub.
(Timing belt cover already cleaned in the pictures).
Now debating to reuse the hubs and mount the inner seals flush the allow for more travel of the hubs or source new hubs.
Tasca has the best pricing I have found so far.
