I love Neptunes, I just sold some parts to a fellow enthusiast from Swedespeed the other day with a really nice blue-green S70 on Neptunes. It looked awesome!

Yeah, I think you've got it right. The easiest way to check (other than a wiring diagram) would be to use a test light with the hazards on and see which wire is flashing, then tap into that one.
