Whatever you do be careful if using bolt extractors. They are VERY hard but snap easy. When that happens it's not fun anymore.

I would agree with this if you're talking about the type of extractors that are inserted into a drilled hole but the external type extractors that fit over the head of a rounded bolt or in this case a stripped internal torx bolt with a round head are not a problem. These type of extractors work better than vice-gripes, pipe wrenches, ground in slots for screwdrivers because they grip much better and in fact grip so well they can break a bolt with frozen threads but at least the extractor is not broken off inside the bolt and can be drilled out. I speak from experience these type of extractors can be a life saver if you have the room to use them. You pound them on to the head of the bolt and they grip like crazy and the shock of pounding them on helps break the frozen threads.

extractors like these, if there's enough room to use them, are invaluable
