So, I finally replaced my compressor with an aftermarket Valeo unit ($225), had it vacuum tested and recharged ($120) and VOILA! Ice cold AC. The cabin filter was nasty as well, so I imagine the force of the air will improve once I get the replacement in the mail.

Next question: My serp belt is aged with some visible cracking on the underside. Given I just accomplished the AC, I am not amped on breaking it all down and doing the whole serp belt and pulley service. SO, is there a way to snake on a new belt without removing the water pump/PS coupling and the AC compressor? Can I take the high pressure line off the PS pump and sneak the belt behind there and get it around everything else? The idler pulley bearings feel good as does the tensioner pulley (tested them out when I had the compressor out).

2010 XC90 3.2 160k miles

AC temp has been getting warmer, progressively over 2 years, last summer only marginally cool that took 20 minutes of driving for the AC to be noticeable. Now there is no cold air at all.

I've had the 134 refrigerant serviced, no change in cooling.

The AC clutch is working properly, spins when on AC, shuts off as it should.

The control valve was checked and "clicks" when powered up with auxiliary 12 volts.

The cold AC Line from the compressor is not getting cold.

It seems then the AC compressor is likely the problem, similar to the start of this thread.

Trough this process of elimination, is there anything further to investigate before replacing the compressor?

Thanks all
