Good thing it has wheel chocks and gloves for that price, what a relief!

Seriously......a million dollar “camper” ( because that what they used to be called). Only “camped” in a few times. But now YOU can use it to “overland,” which used to be called car camping. And since it’s built on a super duty MAN truck chassis, you could enter the truck class of the Paris-Dakar rally....except all your plates and pots and pans would go flying.

Have I told you how I reallly feel?

Not many miles for a '93...Oh. Wait.
It was a big city fire truck, first, then somebody threw large containers of cash at it.
To be fair, a new Prevost 'camper' would really be a million, but 1) it would be new, and 2) it would have three or 4 popouts, and a Jacuzzi.

Looks and sounds like a Land Yacht for the super rich. I have been reading some about this new way to fling around your excess cash if you are a CEO or crypto billionaire.

Yeah, you wouldn't want to pay sales tax on that in your own state like all us plebeians!

I wonder how the state would valuate that anyway. In NC, they charge property taxes based on their declared value of the car, which has little correlation to the actual value of the car.

Somehow long ago our legislature decided it would generate revenue to allow this. An attorney sets up a MT LLC with a PO Box. The LLC purchases the Ferrari / Lamborghini / 1929 Bugatti / Very Large Motorhome. It gets MT plates because that’s the owner’s address. MT has no sales tax.
