Ordered new tires today. I have been going in circles with Michelin and everyone who sells their tires trying to find one last set of original equipment tires for my car. Michelin really dropped the ball! Lots of S class and 5 and 7 Series owners are screwed as well. The Primacy 4 was unveiled last year to replace our tires, but still are not even available from Michelin? Talk about stupid! Stop making the old, before the new are in place for sale even a year later. I just don't understand the mentality on their part. Hope we buy the awful Pilot Sport series which are crap...

So I settled on Bridgestone POTENZA S001 as nobody else had anything close to the correct Michelin... I hope I am not going to regret it! Lol. Time will tell! June

Did you purchase those for your S80 and are they the run flats?

Yes my S80 and I don't know if they are run flat. Does that make a difference? I hate that Michelin discontinued the correct tires! With those I know what to expect. 25 to 30K of smooth quiet dependability. The Bridgestone come with a 30 day warranty if dissatisfied they will remove them and put something else on. I really hate that these cars are getting old! June

Real bummer. I recently lost a 90 year old friend of 50 years and have been very busy helping his widow. The last people of that generation in their 90s are fast falling away. It's very sad because so much took place during their lifespan. Sorry you had to experience that.

Also got the S60 torn down to do the PCV tomorrow. I replaced the cams seals earlier, the front intake seal was blown out, causing the oil leak.
