I’m tempted to go to see what it goes for, but really at my limit for vehicle storage. I’ve succumbed to the low mileage premium before…sometimes a car like that can bring crazy (unrealistic) money.

Dallas Craigslist has a beautiful 1987 740 GLE 192K white with black leather interior. I can't figure out how to find the screen shot button on the updated Android. Otherwise I would post a picture. At under $5,000 it might be worth a look. June

I'm still hoping an affordable clean M46 740 turbo wagon will pop up within reasonable distance. Lot to ask for... not many 740s to be had anymore.

Nice looking car. What is going on on the sides under the trim line? Is that some add-on stainless effect stuff. Never seen that before. Was it a North American option or aftermarket?

240 or 740 turbo wagons are getting harder to find. Personally I would go for a 940 turbo wagon if there was one out there. We have a 94 non-turbo 940 for sale about 100km away for $1800 CDN. Looks like little love needed but not too horrible. I just don't like green cars!
