I created the following graph using a decade resistance box plugged in to the car inlue of the temp sensor and read the coolant temperature using an OBD-II reader then graphed the results:

My other graph which showed when the fan kicks in at slow then high speed for some reason has disappeared from image shack which is disappointing so I will have to recreate it - Mike

It's that a best fit line shown or was there a sudden flash freeze of -25C in Blackpool I missed??

Great graph Mike!

Could you possibly make another one with your data, that only shows the the 0 - 100 ˚C range and adjusts the ohm scale accordingly? Would be great for testing purposes.
