My home state of Oklahoma still ranks high (.54) with yesterdays highest growth in Idaho (1.08). Anyone like potatoes?
In the short term, New York state had a very good day of slow growth.

Is there an easy way you can make a new column for Growth Rate Jump, as a position among the US states?
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link

3,229 tested negative, while 202 tested positive where I live. 2% death rate based upon 202 positives and 4 deceased, but this is skewed since it is unknown if the remaining 198 will be survivors. State only wants those who have come in contact with someone be tested, or who have real symptoms, but I suspect "meToo" wants a test. Median age is 53, with an age range of 7 to 90 of 202 positives. No age stats on those who have died.

Sony is now slowing down PlayStation downloads in the US

YouTube has dropped the default quality of videos to standard definition worldwide, though high definition (HD) can still be manually selected.

Matthew, would you like to see the:
1. Change +/- from previous day for each state?
2. Change, as percent, from previous day for each state?
3. Change in ranking compared to other states, up or down in ranking?

I think I could do any of these, but I am not sure it is significant, since change from day to day is noisy. The long term trend may be more useful. I would need to think how to calculate and prepare long term trends for all states. What graphs I have done for a few states take some time. The daily growth rates for all states if fairly quick.

What is of interest to everyone?

I was talking about say Colorado's rank from 1-50 vs. the day before. If that's too noisy, then a 2 day or 3 day period would be good. But a period of say a week is almost useless.

Why 'Death Rates' From Coronavirus Can Be Deceiving
...
...
...
In the U.S., it's likely that the case fatality rate from coronavirus will end up somewhere between 0.5% and 1%, once a broad cross-section of the population has been tested, Lawrence says.

But that's no reason for the nation to relax, he adds.

"To put it into perspective, that's 5 to 10 times more fatal than flu," Lawrence says, a disease that kills between 12,000 and 61,000 people a year.
