Saffron was never available on anything other than the P80s. Hard to tell what color that is, looks orange-y though.

Night photos shot under sodium-vapor lamp (or whatever)...

Here it is corrected for cast, assuming the upholstery/headrests are "neutral grey", which means a mid grey without any color. Sampling a neutral grey from the tailpipe gives similar result.

So yea, an orange 940

Yeah that's really weird. I'd be really interested to know what color code that actually is. It looks very orange, but I'm not familiar with any oranges available on 940s.

Well I nearly peed myself laughing when saw this ad on FB Marketplace:

Why?

I went to look at this car at the auction yesterday with a minimum bid of $1450 CDN. What was funny is the seller must either be blind or or is used to lying his ass off!

The car has the ABS and STC light on, windshield with a crack all the way across, headlight lens shattered, and that '$10000' of work was done at Midas and other shops, including 2 sets of control arms in less than a year, and some dodgy wiring with no explanation putting a switch into the dash for the fuel pump?

It also need rear brakes and worst of all, the quick struts fitted a couple of years ago did not fit correctly in the top and were cocked off to one side and don't anchor in the top of the mount!!

Oh, then there was the mileage wind back. There was a 2014 dated invoice that had a mileage 50k higher than the next one...........!

The only positives were the engine ran sweetly and the trans shifted. Body was in pretty good shape (except the rear bumper paint) but it would take $$$$ to make this car safe, let alone Stage 0. Unfortunately another Volvo that has been neglected.

Oh, did I forget to say there was no mention of last timing belt change back to 2014.............
