Transmission slow to shift into drive, 2002 XC70
wish I would've know that before
I am surprised to hear that volvo is not a reliable car, I never thought it would not be, I guess I need to check my stats before purchasing next time. By the way, what European car would you recommend for reliability, I don't like BMWs but I can pretty much take anything else.
Well, I would be happy to do some research on how to get things started if anyone else is interested. It just seems so unfair to us that we have to pay for repairs and not just a few of us but a lot of us, almost to the massive numbers of every single 2002 volvo out there has some transmission problem.

I've thought about it for years and CANNOT believe that there hasn't been a class action against Volvo for 01 and 02 transmissions and 95-01 ABS modules. (which ALL fail)annasxc70 wrote:Anyone thought about getting together and make Volvo be responsible for all our transmission problems? Afterall, they did manufacture the car?
Volvo finally capituated over 99-01 throttle bodies after the Govt gave them no choice after a massive law suit.
AC evaporators are another, every single one fails from 1994 thru 2000
