I just bought a copy. >< Should have torrented it. Anyways, has anyone encountered the scenario where the installer for the vadis program just hangs in memory, doing nothing? I double click setup, it launches when i view the task manager, but nothing happens after that. I sat and watched an entire episode of the wire waiting for something to happen before i ended up killing the process... ideas?

The installer needs a .dll file that went away after Windows XP SP2. My DVD drive is fubared at the moment so I can't read the disk but there is normally a "readme" file in the root directory on the DVD that names the .dll file that you need and how to restore it.
