It has been my trooper for the past two winters.
The Turbo wagon will take its place this winter, as it has become a dependable vehicle.

It always stands by with charged battery, and a half tank of gas. (half pack of cigarettes, hundred miles to Chicago...)
Jokes aside, I feel well about its dependability at this point.
It looks good even in its unwashed state, while jealous of its new sibling. Not the '96 behind it, the XC that came home a couple days ago.
New one beside these.

They play well together.

So many white ones.

So, I seem to have an affinity for white cars?

So, to update the '93, I had put a trickle charge on the battery overnight after sitting out this winter.

I now know how to fire this one up without drying out the cylinders immediately from inactivity.

It only seems harsh for a second or two. It is a better option than pulling the plugs, and trying to put a teaspoon of oil in each cylinder.

It will fire on first ignition with fuel pressure. Immediately get the rpm to 3,000 or so and the oil pressure will be there. Only a quick pump on the throttle.

If you simply turn the key, it will fire and the cylinders will go dry. Then comes starting fluid and spoons full of oil...
This applies to a first time start after months of rest. I don't know about years, but I had learned a lesson.
It worked like a charm yesterday.

It was transformed to a reliable go to vehicle by some dude.
Oh, and it finished the seasons last two shows after the heater hose went on the wagon.

I've brought it back from the grave twice, It seems to know.
I need it to be the trooper when it is called upon.

I had thoughts of letting one go.

I could not do it.

They have all come to my new place, which will be conducive to wrenching.
