I am not sure what you mean Robert. When I said bypass, I meant the original hoses used when the engine was designed. If an more efficient alternative can be useful, you would certainly use it.

There was/is nothing vented outside the crankcase. I believe you know, bypass does not always mean to subjugate on ones own accord, but possibly alter a process.

All was considered. Mostly, keeping an old car alive, possibly getting a look, mostly gratification of making things work. (sometimes look good too.)
