By the time it go there out Customs people will have sprayed cheese in a can on it.

Hy foxes,

Bad new : the issue with my brakes came back. Daniel, the guy from ReCar told me something about the brake booster placed at the back of the master cylinder, that usually makes this kind of trouble... The ABS module is clear, the only thing I didn't change on the brakes system is the master cylinder and the brake booster...
Anybody knows what I mean and the method to clear that issue once for all ?

The issue I have had is there is a diaphragm in the booster and that can get issues when the master cylinder starts to fail, it can leak internally into the brake booster. You can sometimes smell the fluid if you know what brake fluid smells like. Other than that not sure what they are saying. Still sounds like the ABS module or maybe the connectors on it. Remove the connectors again, and clean the pins with contact electrical cleaner and then try re-seating the connector again a couple of times. Check the power cable too (the smaller one beside it).

Hy Neil,
I've checked the prices of differents parts of the ABS modules, it starts to become be expensive. I ask myself if it wouldn't be the moment to change the car in itself. A refurbished part ?

Check your connections first and have the ABS sensors checked for resistance values. Also check the sensor rings on the axles that the ABS sensors use to operate. They can get dirty or crack causing issues with the ABS.

It is always worth checking the simpler stuff before worrying about the bigger stuff. When I buy re-built ABS modules I go where a lot of fellow MVS guys go and that is to our friend Matty Moo who runs Mid-West ABS. Not only does he give a lifetime warranty on his repaired units and excellent service, he actually tests the repaired units on one of his cars to guarantee it is correctly repaired and functioning as it should. That is the biggest reason for me to buy in confidence from him. Not sure if they have tested the unit you had repaired in a similar way?
