Yes, I spent Sunday in the parking lot with a bucket of hot soapy water and a brush. Now trying to find a rinse solution

This is a miracle rinse solution. Thanks to Pete we are enjoying drying the cars besides anywhere else we can use this which is really limitless. After washing just wipe the car down but not completely dry. Just spray sparingly all over and wipe with a dry towel. Smooth and effortlessly without any hazing or need to buff. Exceptional shine.

My current 2000 V70 FWD NA Auto, "the G70", is at 216k miles. I got it at 206k miles.

My previous 2000 V70 FWD NA Manual, "the V70", was almost at 275k miles when it got totaled and donated to abscate. I got it at 50k mi, adding 215k miles. At 160k mi, its engine blew and was swapped with one which had 100k mi on it.

Just shy of 313k miles on my 2004 XC70. Re-Volv catted downpipe, deleted stock S60R catback and tune by IPD. Daily, I am amazed at the power this 18 year old, practical, relatively unattractive, beige station wagon still has!
By the way, it’s not as loud as it seems on camera. The only time I hear the exhaust while driving is during acceleration.

Perfect.

My son and I did 1000 miles in Baja (roads) this last summer in a brand new Tundra, and the V8 drone started me hallucinating at times. It gets into your head, no exaggeration. The drone happens at cruise 40-70 MPH... the zone where we spent 90% of our drive time.

I had to read that twice. That still was a very memorable adventure for you both, despite the drone headaches. I assume the exhaust on the Tundra has been replaced with something else.

My 1994.5 F250 7.3 PowerSmoke makes some serious noise as well. It’s a pre-emissions turbo diesel and there’s literally only about an 8’ stick of 4” tubing (with some bends in it) that the smoke has to travel through from the turbo to atmosphere.

If the exhaust wasn’t loud enough, the sheer engine noise of a 7.3 turbo diesel is seriously deafening. It’s the reason Ford had to pull it, in fact. I’ll put it this way, it is darn near impossible to have your head under the hood with the engine running, unless you have ear protection! I should take DB readings going down the highway while pulling a loaded trailer.
