I Changed the fuel pressure sensor which eliminated all codes. All was good until I disconnected negative battery cable in trunk to reset light. Now getting battery light coming onBring it in and codes and showing is misfiring on three and they are saying alternator is bad. Which I never had those issues before disconnecting negative battery cable and reconnecting.

Looking for experienced help or a good shop in Bradenton Florida area.
I believe I need to do the dreaded B4204T11 engine piston and ring replacement.
It's on a 2015.5 XC60 T5 with 90K+ miles. Already did the oil separator (which wasn't bad).
I'm quite capable and have all the tools I need (except the Volvo specials) but this looks a little daunting.
I haven't had to pull a head off anything in 20 years and this one requires you to remove the cams too.
I'm 65+ with a wife and 2 daughters and I have never taken a car to a shop except for tires and alignment.
Except for the cars the kids wrecked I generally drive cars for 200K+ miles. That was the plan for the Volvo too.
I'd feel more comfortable if there was someone (even remotely) who has done it and could walk me through it.
Otherwise I would like to get a price from a reliable shop in the area that knows what they're doing.
Thanks.

Jim

Location : Windsor, ON, Canada
Tools : Jack, jackstands, VIDA/JLR(DICE), good multimeter, sledgehammer

There's really only 1 mechanic I trust with my car within a 300km radius of my location. So if anyone local is having issues with their Volvo I'd be happy to brainstorm with them. My knowledge isn't great but I know my way around the P2's enough that I can diagnose most of the super common issues. I have a private driveway and a good selection of bottom-tier liquors to assist.

Much of my time during the job is spent hauling things up and down the stairs to the basement or in and out of the storage shed, or running back downstairs when I realize I need something else,or taking a break from standing out in the sun,or using flashlights or work lamps when it gets dark.

V70 P2 HELP offered Santa Cruz CA, 95064

Anyone in the Santa Cruz area? Im going to be there for college this fall, and wondering if there are any fellow MVS'ers nearby.
Unfortunatly I dont have any tools as im living in the campus apartments, but im willing to offer help. Depending on if I have issues, does anyone in the area have tools/garage I could use?
