My book is out in a few decades. I wanted it in hardcover but they said I’m spineless.

For those who are brave enough for a trip down the Rabbit Hole :
'Shadow of the Sentinel : One Man's Quest to Find the Hidden Treasure of the Confederacy by Bob Brewer and Warren Getler'
Not sure it's worth paying a lot to buy, my library had a copy. It involves Jesse James, The Knights Templar (!), and buried Confederate Treasury caches guarded to this day. Interesting read, but I remain unconvinced - to say the least.

This is the one Dr. Abscate mentioned
'The Silent War: The Cold War Battle Beneath the Sea' (Craven)
I may or may not have direct knowledge of some of the contents, which of course I can neither confirm nor deny.

Foggy and I shared some history stories, he liked mine of being in a room filled with brass in the private sector, and innocently dropping the term “ Ivy Bells”

One of the guys told me later he actually thought he had to call Langley. Coffee was ejected from mouths.

For the Cold War history buff….

There is an interesting story of how the comm link was actually found which I had better check yo see if it’s declassified ?

"Blind Man's Bluff" (Drew, et al, 1998) wasn't the first reference in the popular press, and both the operation itself, as well as the way they first found the undersea cable , have been public knowledge for decades. There may even be a couple stories in earlier 'Proceedings'.
