Set some 28 speed records at Bonneville, including on a gigantic circle course they set up. Max straight speed was 217 mph, in a stock bodied car.
Look at the stance, the tire clearance, and the giant chin spoiler to keep it on the ground. And side windows.
An earlier version of this car set the closed course record at Talledega at 201mph in 1970. The car was banned by Nascar in 1971.

^ That Daytona reminds me how much I like muscle cars with their original amount of tire (or more like the Daytona photo), and how much I can't stand the low profile look that barbaric, glue-sniffing cavemen started fitting to them beginning around the turn of the century.
