Wow! The 164 I think are some of the sexiest Volvo's ever made. They remind me of those old Mercedes 300. I would love to get my hands on a 164 when I graduate from college.

I'll have to get some pics of my late Uncle's 164, then. It has a Ford 302 cu in V8 conversion in it done back in the 70's. Total sleeper rod.

Hello gents. New to the board and found it while trying to jolt my memory on speaker replacement in my '93 850 GLT. Just picked up the car as a replacement commuter car (replacing a now dead '98 Taurus SE). Took a couiple of pics of the car as I bought it and today on a hardware store run.

Yes... It came with these rims already on it... I DESPERATELY want to get a set of factory wheels for it.

you don't know how much I despise these wheels. They're entirely too wide, making steering difficult on well worn roads, and they're too tall, so they rub over bumpd/dips in the road and my speedometer is off. They also draw waaaaaaaay too much attention.

I want a set of 6 spoke OEM wheels.

Troll your local junkyard! We have a great u-pull-it yard around here, and I was just there the other day while they were cubing cars & bringing in new ones, and they dropped 2 Volvos, untouched! I almost took the tires & wheels off an s70 since they were the same size as mine and the tires were BRAND NEW.....$30 a piece for new tires on aluminum wheels! Beats the hell out of paying $300-$400 for new tires, but I decided to wait until I had the extra money and give my baby the royal treatment with some new ones. Got some tools out of the trunk of that s70 though, since I got to it before the yard workers did.
