Correction, A42 there is no A48.

Thanks, I came back and saw the correction on 42. so, 13, 28 and 42 show grounded. However 17, 18, 19 and 33 show no ground.

I have power to A 41,26,12 with key on. Key off and 26 and 12 are still powered but 41 goes to ground.

Also, B36 is powered with key on

Not clear what you mean by "show".
By show, are you referring to the pin out (theoretical) or what your getting by probing (what is)?

13, 28,42 show a green light when probed so I have not yet gone in from underneath and looked for where the wires are on the block. If memory serves they are under the intake on the front of the block near the knock sensors.

That is the ECM switching on the main fuel relay by grounding the relay. Which tells me the ECM is alive. Power leads to ECM are good.

I still need to find why all the sensors show missing as opposed to ready or not ready. I really thought checking all the terminals on the ECM socket would turn up something. I'm kind of at a loss as to where to look next.

Did you get rid of the 850 R? If not, compare the numbers on the two ECMS. A better scan tool might help.

I have not tried another reader but am willing to bet this one I got at harbor freight could be replaced with something better.
