We could hope that Trudeau gets put into total quarantine with no phone or computer access. Maybe the country will get on better and actually make decisions on stuff. He was only planning to be in quarantine for 7 days. Does no one tell him what is actually happening??

Not a fan you can tell. Actually don't wish this on anyone.

As of yesterday Kansas has three more presumptive positive cases. All three attended a conference in Florida.

Somebody call Trump, travel ban and fence in Florida.

I wish you luck and hope you get to finish your ticket and get to use it.

Had to go and pick up a couple of items from the grocery store. When I went in I was nearly run over by the hoards of panicking idiots clearing everything off the shelves like locusts. All soup cans were gone as was packet soup, pasta, rice, cereal you name it, it was gone. I saw people with carts overflowing with cans and that maniacal look in their eyes. Wow. Stop the world I want to get off right about now!

In a Quinnipiac University poll released this week, roughly six in 10 Republican voters nationwide said they were not especially concerned that the coronavirus would disrupt their lives. Two-thirds of Democratic voters said the opposite. All together, a slight majority of Americans expressed serious concern....

Geography could play a role, as Democrats are more likely to live in cities, which are the sites of the worst outbreaks. But this partisan divide may well be linked to the kind of media people consume: While most newspapers and TV networks are treating the crisis as a dire threat and covering local governments’ efforts to contain it, many right-wing pundits are casting doubt on the virus’s risks and even its very existence — following a precedent set by President Trump, who has played down the danger of the virus.

I just hate that things like this get so political... is absolutely ridiculous. You'd think we're in an apocalypse right now. I was just at the store a little while ago, no cleaning products, hand soap, paper products, bread, etc. It's unbelievable.

Again, not to say people shouldn't be aware and try to prevent the spread of it, but people need to calm down. It's better to keep everybody calm than cause a panic, that causes shelves to clear and people to be stuck without things like toilet paper... not what we want right now!
