Thanks BB. That was just one wing of my estate. I have eight or ten wings... I don't know really, I haven't had time to walk them all yet.

I should have shown you the grand French gardens also, and the helicopter and horse stables. I knew you were on a timeline, so I had to cut some things out. Modern problems.

Whelp....on the way back north tomorrow. Looks to be more what we expected. There seems to be an arctic front sitting between Casper WY and Sheridan WY. Mid 30s and high SW winds in Casper, then single digits F and north wind north of there. Wind chills well below zero F. Snowpacked, scattered snow & ice, light snow.

Glad it worked out for you. I hope to get out there some day. Just to weigh in on this interesting topic, much like cn90 stated above, I too am starting to use the long trip "rental car" strategy when traveling with family (passengers) and going far... for about weeks trip. Recently did a NJ to FL run 2500 miles round trip.., rented for a week at about $425 all in. Rented a standard SUV but got an unexpected luxury upgrade to GMC Armada which is bigger and more spacious than even our XC90... Wife and MIL were very pleased, and made for a 100% worry free and extremely comfortable trip. That said however... if I was going alone... to FL, CA or anywhere I'd take any of my daily drivers in the fleet and not think twice. There are some comforts a 2021 car has that the 2006 or 2004 do not (and less noises). (I would not trade and be captive to the new car dealer)... but I do justify an occasional rental as almost like a free perk for doing all the work on my own cars and saving thousands of dollars.
