The URO PCV parts last for about one year, after which you can repeat the job again, while you are still in practice. It's a feature.

Thanks much for the feedback. I will stay away from those. Not looking to do it twice.

Forum is great for DIY repairs.

Forgot to add added some UV dye in the angle gearbox. Still weeping after replacing the 2 outer seals :-(

Finished doing the brakes today. Took a quick drive and they're still feeling a bit soft as they do when all new but oh how lovely it is to not have the car wobble when braking.

Did an engine flush, engine treatment and switch over to 100% synthetic oil. Also finished rough install of Amplifier for stereo...

Nice move. Careful with the synthetic, if there was mineral before, the engine will start consuming a lot of oil for the next 1-2 oil changes. Good idea to keep a daily eye on it and top up as needed ;) Even an early filter only change is a good idea

Meh, bet it won't! Wish we could get reports back to know over the next year. But yes, always a good idea to watch the oil level.

Your videos are great, thanks for cranking those out. Where did you get that black dash cover?

Y'know..I've never owned a car with heated mirrors where the mirrors heated. The back window worked fine. Fingers crossed for XC.

My last three cars worked. This one doesn't. I've measured them and both mirrors have power but broken circuits in the mirrors. Don't really notice that much of a practical difference, just have to remember to scrape the mirrors as well as the windows.
