We get a lot of cars like this in our dry states , Alistair. No water, no road salt, no rust. He’s in a nice place where it isn’t so desert the paint and plastics are all gone, but the metal is still sound.

That’s a nice colour and find, Alex! The stick is a nice find, too. They are going the way of the dodo bird here. I’m frantically trying to accumulate enough stick shift cars for me to ride out my ~30 years of driving years left, if the Creator permits

Thanks! Yeah, we’re lucky to have lots of clean cars down here. I was very happy to find the only rust the seller mentioned are paint chips... that doesn’t bother me one bit. I only care about structural rust!

It’s Baltic Blue, ‘84-‘85 only color I believe. I like it!

It's actually really clean! I'll have to post some pics later once I clean it up more. It has some water entry, but it's only a little musty. No nasty mold smells yet.
The vinyl is all in great shape though. It has the Recaro seats with the adjustable thigh supports. The driver seat was swapped out since it had some twist going on, but it was included with the car so I'm going to fix that at some point.

New injectors in, was an easy job. Just had to modify the retainer clip to only hold the pulse damper as the new injectors didn't have the slot for it

Replaced the headlight lenses with OE units.
Installed LED Conversion (from amazon) in headlights. Not too bad for $30!
Aimed the headlights.
Replaced the turn signal lenses with clear units from IPD.
Did some touch up work on a few paint scuffs.
Installed a GPS Speedometer because I'm currently too lazy to tear out the ABS module.

All in all a pretty productive day.

If it has the sport seats and that spoiler, it might have the full sport option - check the diff sometime to see if it's limited slip.

Ours came from N California, then SW Montana. It was bone dry. Non-running, needed a battery and an alternator in the parking lot before we could limp it home. Now it drives cross country!

We tucked the bumpers as tight as they'll go - Euro bumps someday if budget and priorities match.

I'll have to check that out! Also gonna try to tuck in those bumpers... they extend WAY too far out!

I stickied a link to Matt’s pdf on wheel options for P80s and P2 cars in the Classifieds, near the Junkyard requests.

See here.

There are way too many options for wheels on these cars

And that just touches on the many options! There are a couple missing still, and that's just talking about FWD cars.
