Hi all, nube here. I've had volvos for a long time, but just came across this one on Craigslist, and couldn't pass it up. It's a 2001 V70 T5 with an auto stick. 180K on the clock, dealer serviced until 150K. It's in real nice shape, had to do some interior cleaning, but all in all very tickled with my purchase!
Anyhow, it has a couple of issues, like I'm sure it needs motor mounts, Shifts real hard into drive, or reverse, and I get a real bad Vibration on acceleration, but, let of the gas and it's smooth as a baby's bottom. the sunroof isn't working, and It's randomly tossing a DTSC error. But still, with some elbow grease, It's gonna be a hell of a nice car!

After three years I finally took pictures of the blushing pig. It's cosmetically flawless inside and out with the exception of ten coats of paint on the front bumper, complete with stress cracks, peeling paint and overspray all over the front chassis and lower radiator area.
Work done to the car were:
Installed used factory roofrack with crossrails (Myself) $300 2 hours
Disassemble moonroof and reseal glass frame (myself) $0 2hours
Front struts and mounts (myself) $300 1.5 hours
Two front tires $200 (paid shop)
Alignment $80 (Paid shop)
One o2 sensor and MAF $500 inc. tow to shop
Replaced missing bottom grilles
Reupholstered the entire cargo area floor. (myself) $50 6 hours
All fluid flushes
Things I want/need to do:
Strip and repaint the front bumper
Get recessed racing grille
Timing and surp belts at 150k
Get factory dual-ish exhaust from newer model. (that bumper plug kills me!)
Change the diff fluid
