This one is a 98 LPT, manual so M90 gearbox and pretty decently equiped. It had an unfortunate encounter with another piece of swedish steel a few weeks ago, the Scania won
Drove it 30km home like that, drove fine apart from some extra wind noise ! Not sure yet if I'm going to fix it or part it out, A pillar and B pillar are very so slightly shifted

The seats in my '98 V70R rescue are right shabby, wish I could find a nice pair on this side of The Big Water.
Bricks are tough, she'll be awrite.
The interior is my V70 is different from an R one, I've never managed to pinpoint which year or trim had these :?: I would happily swap for R seats if I ever find some clean ones tho

And the yards in my area tends to have a lot P80s that are so clean that they have to be donations. The rf fender on my vehicle was damaged when i received it so I went to one of my local spots and picked a damn near new fender ( the clearcoat was perfect for $45) and pocketed a perfect set of side markers with harnesses. A ton of nice ones in the yards in the Baltimore,Md area.

Nicely equipped! I wish we got the M90 here... the only manual transmissions we got in the States were the awful M46 and M47. And that was just on the 740, 940s were auto only  .

As for your interior, that's extremely rare in the US. It was available in the S70 T5 SE, which was mostly sold in Canada. Only a handful were sold in the US. It's also referred to as the "Monza" interior.

Sorry for the delay in replying still learning how to navigate the site. It's a black spoiler with a good finish on it. Unfortunately drilling out one of the rusty screws the threaded insert came out clean. One came out easy and the other two I took the heads off clean with no damage and got the clips.

Pulled the S70 into the garage yesterday so I could start tearing it down today. Got pretty much everything out that needed to be removed. This damage was REALLY minor now that I’ve torn into it! Aside from the obvious damage to the core support, the only real damage is to the AC condenser, which is slightly bent. Not to the point that it was fractured fortunately. I might try to straighten that. Worse case, my V70 parts car has a good one. The radiator and intercooler are perfectly fine. It needs headlights too of course, but I might just order some new aftermarket ones. All the lights I have have reflectors just as baked as these ones were. The previous owner smashing that left headlight was a good thing, these lights were downright dangerous!
Gonna pick up a hood and core support from the junkyard, but I should have pretty much everything else I need to repair it. I already picked up a nice 426 mystic silver fender a few weeks ago, just need to get the hood from that car!

To be clear about the passenger fender, that was a separate, very minor collision the PO had. Not related to the one that totaled the car and landed it back in my hands.

Good luck! Looks fairly minor like you say.

Today my V70R did the most help it has done in ages. I used it's battery to run our computers and router as the electricity company took our power down in the street for upgrades!!

Thanks!

I’m not doing any painting on this one, fortunately one of the local junkyards has a couple mystic silver P80s I can grab the hood from. The fender is already the right color. Cleaned it up earlier, probably gonna throw that on tomorrow and change the B+ cable while everything is out of the way.
