The Cyber Monday sale at usparts.volvocars.com is live. This year, it's 15% off all orders and an additional 5% off orders of $200 or more. Free shipping over $100 but that's pretty normal. Now is a great time to buy those expensive, odd parts not stocked at mass market online shops like FCP, IPD, eEuroparts, etc.

Do you like this better than Volvopartswebstore? They’re probably both dealer-based online sales.

usparts.volvocars.com is more than a front address for any one dealer's parts department, it has the blessing of Volvo Cars, see viewtopic.php?f=4&t=80985

OK, thanks, I have an order all lined up in the cart with Volvo parts webstore, so I'll price it across with this one.

I ordered stuff from both IPD an FCP.

IPD sale is weird. Stated the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale ran from last Wednesday to 4th Dec. I got 2 emails saying the Black Friday sale was ending yesterday. Just checked the Cyber Monday sale via their email today and it looks identical in terms of sale prices.

No great discounts to be had on regular stuff. Disappointing. Also our Canadian dealers don't seem to be giving the same discounts, in fact any sales prices at all. Hardly surprising!

Volvo Parts Web Store advertises low prices but charges a lot for shipping. I like them and have used them, but I have to carefully compare their price + shipping to other stores. Years ago, they rarely but sometimes cost less than anyone else.

usparts.volvocars.com is directly from Volvo. Or you can order there from a local dealership which may subtract off additional discounts. My local dealership offered this so I would pick up the orders in store, but they recently stopped participating. I believe Volvo and the dealerships will all ship parts for free. So the trick is to find the dealership offering the best additional discount and have them ship it. It can be confusing, but I find it worthwhile when I have a multi hundred dollar order because I'll get another 10-15% off.

Currently VPWS has that pump for $85 with $11.50 shipping to me in NJ, $96.50 total. usparts.volvocars.com has it for $124 list, but $111.50 after the current 10% sale. A dealer near me stacks another 9% discount so it's $100. A dealer in Trevose, PA is offering it for $77 (their 28% off + Volvo 10% off).

Note that some dealerships don't seem to have access to all parts. I've had a hard time ordering batteries, specifically. One place listed them very inexpensively but couldn't really sell them at that price. Another offered discounts seemingly only on batteries. It's reliable for most things but there are these edge cases.

For the first time, I'm going to try having a discounting dealer ship it to me. Maybe this place in PA has extra 28% discounts on more things and will ship to me in tax free NH. I'll find out this week.

There's currently a March sale at usparts.volvocars.com and the dealerships which use that system. 10% off orders up to $200, 15% off orders over $200. That's a great deal. Remember that certain local dealerships subtract an additional discount from that; I've seen 9% - 28% extra. I prefer in-store pickup but they also ship for free. You may be able to ship from the dealership with the best discount.

I'll be ordering expensive subframe bolts and more hardware in preparation for one or two steering rack replacements. Seems silly to pay so much for bolts but they seem critical so I won't mess around.

Independence Day sales are coming. Get your shopping lists ready and hold off on buying until this weekend. Both FCP and usparts.volvocars.com should have their second best sales of the year (after Cyber Monday).
