Have you checked and cleaned the battery terminals? Starter cable connections ?
Yes, I did. Also the starter is new and all cables and connectors along with terminal ends are in good shape with no cracked insulation which is a surprise.

Secondary fault was the rear left window motor somehow got disconnected so i reattached it.
Might have to do that on the S70. My right rear isn't going up from that switch.

Sveedy got herself an alignment and new tires.
One of the old ones was beginning to separate between the tread plies causing a vibration at 65mph +. Crap generic tire that the PO had put on. I have never quite seen the logic in skimping on tires. But I guess if your just tootling around town .....

It was interesting, it was the master switch from my crashed v70 which has not had working rear windows in years. I did see pitting as per normal but i found i could still scrape it off and go at it again. One thing to note is that the isopropyl seemed to move the residue such that it concentrated at the contacts. Had a bad moment where none of my windows worked before i took it out, hit it with flux, heat, and the laser cleaning solution. I used wipes to get under the contacts and checked closely on where they hit. I found scraping helped immensely in restoring functionality and postured that pitting of the contact was unlikely unless you smelled burning. Even then, the springs pushed down pretty hard. I did add some tape around the pointer for the bad window to help increase the travel of the switch to ensure it worked. Best of luck to you! Now its time to see if i can make an LED for the shift nob light, i want to only have to replace that once for the reamingin life of the car.

Replaced my expansion tank yesterday. Fortunately I had this much newer one sitting on the shelf, since my old one finally sprung a tiny leak from a crack in the top last week. Well, I noticed last week... it’s probably been leaking for a little while.
The water in there is temporary, I need to flush the cooling system out. There’s still traces of stop leak from the previous owner... from YEARS ago.
