Maybe some solvent or Goo Gone remover?
Car bras and car covers ( exceptions for convertibles) are indicators of small……equipment.
Have you tried a rubber pencil eraser?
Thanks! It's a pretty rare color, Venetian Red.Clemens wrote: ↑29 Jun 2021, 00:34That is a really interesting color for an R. The stance looks good.bmdubya1198 wrote: ↑28 Jun 2021, 20:38
It sits a little lower now on the FCP Sport lowering springs lol. I just have to get used to it, the nivomats were lowered with spacers.
If you haven't tried one, I highly recommend one of these rubber wheels. They are by far the easiest way to remove that stuff.
Nicely done. Those two holes in the bumper are kind of empty.bmdubya1198 wrote: ↑28 Jun 2021, 20:38 And the delta link swap is done! I'll be compiling a parts list in the next few days when I get some time, but I am happy to report a successful drive to the gas station. Currently the car has no exhaust past the cat, so it's LOUD. I need to take care of that ASAP. First thing's first, I need an alignment!

Try W40, it's probably not as aggressive as GooGoo.
I think you'll know more once you get the gear off. If there isn't a stub sticking out of the cam that you can get a small pair of pliers
Thanks foggy. I haven't pulled the gear yet so I'll try that but I also picked up a set of left hand bits if needed. At this point all I have is patience because I'm getting a helluva education doing this.foggydogg wrote: ↑29 Jun 2021, 15:08I think you'll know more once you get the gear off. on, try a sharp punch and a small hammer. Find a crag that you can get a little traction on, then tap-a-tap away - counter-clock, naturally. I've gotten lucky a few times.
Patience is a Virtue.
Yeah, I need to do something about that ASAP. The drone from the open exhaust is absolutely horrendous. It’s barely drivable.foggydogg wrote: ↑29 Jun 2021, 14:55Nicely done. Whatever shall you do for entertainment now ?
One of the things I miss most when my old Navy buddy closed his shop is being able to mount and balance my own tires. We had a pretty good collection of front-end alignment gear too for setting up both of our asphalt NASCAR racers. Wasn't laser-true, but good enough to get it ballpark, and a shop nearby that does nothing but alignment work would fine-tune for beers.bmdubya1198 wrote: ↑29 Jun 2021, 16:46 ...
Went to get an alignment today, and it’s only marginally better. The guy listened to me about using FWD specs, the sheet shows a P2. Ugh... now to go back again tomorrow and sort it out. No time for this stuff, I HATE having anyone else touch my cars. I’m too used to being the one providing service, I don’t like being the customer.
