replaced the throttle intake tubing, the maf sensor, and tubing from the air intake. No more emission level misfires or maf sensor issues.

Went to replace the fuel filler neck seal due to a very small leak, then realized I might have to drop the tank again to do that, since it extends pretty far into the tank. It was in the mid 90s and humid as hell, so I decided to just reseat everything and coat the seal in Vaseline (I always use this for the fuel pump seal as well). Everything slid together nicely. After filling half a tank, no fuel smell and no evidence of leaks on the tank. I think I’m good! The new one can go on the shelf.

See, a positive attitude never hurts.mdr1220 wrote: ↑04 Jul 2021, 10:58 IMG_20210704_124752197_HDR.jpgI had the Volvo gods smiling down on me today when I pulled the exhaust cam to remove the broken bolt and to my surprise I twisted the broken end out with my fingers. Now to hit the salvage yards for some bolts because it's Sunday and tomorrow I'm off.
Looks like you got some bolts at the Yard, let us know how the rest of the deed is going.

You're right. I've been busy with exams for my degree. I've worked nearly 18 to 20 hours a days since july 2019, job, home, and the evening school "visio" lessons. I was hoping that my boss would help me in organize my "timetable" to allow to finish my day work more soon than normal (to have more time to work at home), but he didn't want to. I was totally physically collapsed at the end of may, so i had to take a little time for me. 2 weeks while i slept 12 hors a day... Now, everything is okay. I returned to the fitness sessions, i wait for the results of my exams and in 4 weeks, i will go in the Pyrennées for 10 days of fresh air, with friends and family.
I'm still a huge fan of Matthew's work on his website. I go back to my 850 to go ahead to rebuild it. As you may have seen, i replaced the front suspensions on saturday, but i have to go to the garage to replace the cranckshaft pulley, because i haven't got the right tools to do the job properly. My 850 will bring us to holidays, so, i keep focused on what i can do, as reparing the power passenger seat (with the excellent video of our friend Robbie DIY !
But also, very cool to read you too...

Yep. I don't know how it goes in your areas, but here, The ones that say they are managers... how to say, politely ? I don't know if they have taken some management lessons, i would have been happy if only they had taken politeness classes...

Replaced my clockspring after living with an srs-212 code for a couple months. They're incredibly hard to find for the 99-00 s/v70 models. FCP/IDP has them backordered and the local Volvo dealers told me there are none in stock in dealer network and they have no plans to make more. Couldn't find any used on ebay either. I got lucky that the c70 used the same part (8611465) and got one out 01 c70 at a local junkyard. I'm not the keeper of the list but seems like they should be added to the do not leave at the junkyard list.
After replacement i cleared the code and rescanned with no new codes so fingers crossed this one works for awhile
