Alternator went on my car and truck both same day my birthday none the less thanks for reminding me
Both new now plus few other OEM Volvo parts
Water pump timing belt serpentine belt and AC
Cranking now

I didn't notice the subframe mount plates being wrong side up because I was so disappointed about the damage to the crossmember.

Hadn't planned on spending all my spare time - not to mention all my spare money - on what I hoped would be a Daily Driver Candidate.

What a struggle.
At least I made room for it inside. Hit 100f today ( almost 38c. )
New rack on the way, just ordered mounts and bolts. Have to take a hard look at the damage and decide if I can straighten it or start a junkyard crawl .

Took two days, with several breaks to have a man-to-man chat with my back.
Going to take the cradle for a ride to a friends shop; there will be a torch and a large hammer applied. Outcome TBD.

I agree ! Amazed that you came up with a plan of action and got it under control so quickly.
In between tears, I'd still be contemplating what to do next. Fix it, strip it, sell it, or surf sacrifice it.

I might consider some of those overload springs depending on the ride height I get out of them. They work really well, and I no longer have nivomats.
