850, lots of boost + how to go even faster?

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

Hoooooooly crap. Hide yo kids, hide yo wife... We have a member who happens to know a little bit about Subies. And we also have an OP who is picking up questionable info from all over the web. The last thing I would want to do would be to post more questionable info. And in this case was posting to hopefully help the OP reel in some of the broad, over the top expectations that he/she has developed across the board. If you had read my whole post you may have noticed that I expressed genuine interest in what was going to happen next and in no way was being negative. Happy turkey day.

Here in sweden 850 t5 is one of the most popular cars to upgrade(or take the t5 engine and put it in a 740).

I have a wagon in the exact same colour as you actually :p With an ECU chip together with sports filter and 3 inch exhaust i've got 295 hp.. No other modding what so ever. Just keep in mind that if u want to go over 1.2bar of boost u really need other rods or they will bend. As said earlier over 300hp rods are prio, rest should keep up quite a bit further.

The b5234t aka t5 has 225hp stock btw, with b5234t5 aka t5-r has 225hp but 240 for up to 30seconds @ full throttle(yellow, black and olive green btw). The b5234t4 aka 850R, which came 96' has a constant 250hp(automatic 240hp), and features bigger turbo, different inlet manifold and other small mods compared to t5/t5-r which are mechanicly identical, only ECU differs.

Oh and 500hp+ t5 are quite common here... There's a guy with 1140hp in from the b5234t, search for Leif Hermansson on the tube ;)
