The process is similar but a little different. I've linked 2 x A1 Autoparts videos. First is how to replace the parking brake shoes and service the system. The 2nd is how to adjust the parking brakes. That is a little simpler as the only adjustment point is at the lever end of the cable.
I suggest that take the time to service the system which the tech shows with lubing the system at the wheel end. With a helper you can also check that the cables are free. Have someone hold the disconnected cable at the parking brake end with pliers and pull the parking brake lever. Feel if the cable moves easily and when the lever is dropped again, does the cable easily pull back?
