Nothing more than a longitudinally stretched vehicle, with alot of empty forward space.

Jaguar E-Type, (Jaguar XK-E) or Nissan S30 (Datsun 240Z) were realistic in dimensions, without empty space in front.

Cadillac design team must have been on crack...

It would depend upon what year that record player was offered.

Chrysler’s Pioneering Disc-Brake System Explained
- After Chrysler dropped the costly unit for 1955 (improved vacuum boosters gave new life to Chrysler’s drum brake systems), Ausco-Lambert changed the housing material to aluminum and tried to market the brakes over the counter as the “Double-Disc Safety Brake.” Unfortunately, it was overshadowed by European-style, floating-caliper brakes that were big with the sports-car set. Detroit (except for Studebaker in 1963) wouldn’t revisit (front) disc brakes for another decade.

The first car with disc brakes really was . . .

I spotted a VW bus today that appeared to be in good condition. I know there are VW fans on here so I snapped a picture! June

That’s a 75-79 Bay window Bus. I used to be able to tell the exact model year but got old.

The supply chain for parts on old VW is horrific. Imagine fixing yourVolvo if URO was the top of the chain....

Next time I'm near that lot I will see if it's there and get out to snap some better photos. My picture doesn't do it justice. I was on the go with friends and didn't have time. I'm so glad Volvo is supporting old models like mine... June

I don't think crack was a thing until the late 70s or 80's. In 1969 that Cadillac design would have been courtesy of LSD. The later crack induced model would be the Cimmeron.
