You basically don’t get wood frame construction in EU broadly speaking. Europeans figured out woodburns

I love that stone building, what is it used for?

I also love how our hoods will open like that.
It's a stable/barn, also my garage. Can hear the cows on the other side of the wall while working on cars

The 'boss' complained she went to use the rear tailgate wiper and it stopped part way. Now in the car's defense she tried to do it on a dirty rear windshield with gritty dirt on it which does the system no favours. So had a quick look at it today. First cleaned all the dirt of the rear windshield and cleaned the blade. Moved the arm and blade off the windshield and tried it. And it ran but slow. So lubed the spline with WD40 on a nozzle into the shaft and then ran it for a short time un-loaded. Then wet the rear windshield and it ran and parked as it should. That is now on this winters list for removal and servicing!! Been little used in 10 years so not entirely to be unexpected.

Naturally the 'new' Volvo rear windshield pump is once again seized. When will they make these damn pumps that can actually work in windshield washer fluid??

Would swap it out but of course just had filled the bottle..............! I will try to jump start the pump in the bottle or it will have to wait until the level is lower.

Cleaned my passenger side floor mat. I want to put the OEM Volvo carpeted mats back in the car, now that Winter is gone. I did the driver's side last week and it's waiting for re-install.

Does that mean you are half matted ? One side summer and one side winter? That’s just outrageous!

Last year it was June before I changed the E83 tires to summer ones

No, I haven't pulled the Rensi mats yet..... Been too busy working under the hood. Ideally, I'll vacuum the car before swapping mats, and I hate cleaning interiors, so it's really easy to put it off.

Got the rebuilt steering rack installed into the wife's 855 this weekend. Also swapped out the "R" front sway bar for the larger '00 XC70 one while the subframe was out of the car.

Ok, they're in.... I skipped the vacuuming part. I also didn't install the retainers that screw into the carpet on the driver's side. I'm not sure if I'll put those back in or not, as they get in the way of the Rensi mats.... I also don't remember where I put them. I'm sure they're safe, Though
